Feedback from customer- This was a custom item. Duane's communication was superb. We got the item quickly and it was well packaged. The item was exactly as described and my wife is very happy with it. I had to do a small amount of refitting due to the contour of the of the base of the sewing machine. Nothing to do with the seller's workmanship. He is a great seller and I would recommend him without reservation. Hi Duane I’ve been building these kinds of trays for reconditioned machines when I have no case or cabinet, and if anyone complains about yours, they never have built anything—your prices for these nice display trays are more than reasonable! (Mine are made from whatever kind of scrap wood that’s laying around, so I sand and paint them, so the mismatch on the wood isn’t too obvious.). So keep on doin’ what you’re doin’ and I’ll holler when I need parts. Been building an old truck so I’m behind on the sewing machines but it’s all good. WOOD BASE UNFINISHED DO IT YOUR-SELF, MACHINE JUST SETS IN THE BASE, has lollipop hinges, has cushions and holddown. I HAVE HAD A BUYER BUY A UNFINISHED BASE AND SAY THAT HE/SHE ARE NOT HAPPY BECAUSE THEY EXPECTED MORE!! I WANT TO EXPLAIN, I BUILD THESE FOR FOLKS WHO NEED A BASE TO PUT THEIR MACHINE IN SO THEY CAN USE IT TO SEW WITH AND SO THE MACHINE DOESN'T SCRATCH THEIR TABLE/DESK. SOME MACHINES DO NOT SET FLAT ON THE TABLE AND THAT MAKES IT HARD TO SEW WITH THAT MACHINE. IF YOU ARE A PERFECTIONIST YOU MAY NOT LIKE THE BASES I MAKE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PERFECT BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WELL BUILT BASE THAT YOU CAN PUT YOUR MACHINE IN SO YOU CAN USE YOUR MACHINE THIS WILL WORK GREAT. I WAS ASKED BY THE BUYERS TO BUILD THESE FOR THEM AND SOME HAVE BOUGHT MORE THAN ONE. I HAVE SOLD A LOT OF THEM AND I HAVE HAD SOME REALLY NICE FEEDBACKS. EVERY BASE WILL NOT BE THE SAME, IT IS WOOD.. WHAT DOES NOT PERFECT MEAN- SOMETHING IMPERFECT HAS FLAWS, ERRORS, INCOMPLETE. YOU HAVE TO FINISH THESE THE WAY YOU WANT THEM YOU CAN SAND, PUTTY, PAINT OR STAIN WHAT EVER YOU HEART DESIRES. I WILL NOT BE STAINING BASES ANY MORE. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS I AM HERE TO HELP.
